Duffield start with a win ...

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking all who attended our first PSL encounter of the 2010 /2011 season against MB Nottingham on Tuesday evening.

I am sure you will all agree that there was on view Squash of the highest standard, and a 5-0 victory against our local rivals got us off to the best possible start for the current campaign. Bearing in mind we were lacking the fire power off our top strings, I thought every member of the team were magnificent and this bodes very well for future matches.

We really are privileged to have such a wonderful squad of Players who have committed their services this season, and personally I cannot wait for the forth coming games which I am sure will produce some world class performances.

The atmosphere last evening was tremendous and in no small way added to the performance given by each and every Player.
Mark Kowalski, our new signing,who made his debut for us last evening, commented on what a fantastic club it was and how he had been approached by several members congratulating him on his performance and how touched he had been by the reception given.

Our Players travel the World entertaining thousands of fans, and it is very gratifying that they all comment on what a brilliant club we have and how they all feel very at home. This is in no small way is due to our wonderful club members and support from Derbyshire Squash Club members in general.

I again would like to thank each and every one of you all for your generous support and to all the "background "staff, to many to mention, who make each and every game so successful.

Our next match is a home game on November 23rd 2010 against Esporta Oxford, start time 7.00 pm.
This promises again to be a great spectacle and your support would be most welcomed.
