Here we are at Nottingham ... preview from Arthur Curran

Well here we are at Nottingham Squash Club for the PSL League Final, all eagerly anticipating a great match to come. Just half an hour to go to the start and the club is filling up very nicely- it will certainly be a full house here tonight, considering that both teams are from not too far away.

Unfortunately for Chapel Allerton they are without their No1 Ladies player Jenny Duncalf, so they have brought in the 18 year old Leeds player Carrie Ramsey to make her league debut in what will surely be a baptism of fire, against former National Champion Tania Bailey, who has a winning run in the PSL League going back a couple of seasons, giving Duffield a slight advantage at the beginning.

The fourth string match will be a repeat of last week’s National Under 19’s Championship Final, which was won by Chris Simpson, so can Joel Hinds gain revenge. Chapel Allerton do seem to have a slight advantage in the middle order, but I am that everybody in the club will be hoping it is 2 games each when it comes to the last game – what a cracker that promises to be, especially after England’s win over France at the weekend!
